Set up an ongoing event stream that sends hand-selected Ordinals data to your app, whether data related to a particular address, a particular ordinal, and more.
Rapidly fetch ordinals events from a set range of past blocks and verify historical data in your terminal.
Configure what ordinals events you want to track in a database and stream that data to an API.
Ordhook is an open source project, and we are active in the Ordinals community. We are partners and contributors to the non-profit Layer 1 Foundation, as well as ALEX’s oracle. We encourage you to build with us, contribute to the project, and file any bugs you find. View the Ordhook GitHub repo.
Ordhook is built using Chainhook, our own in-house indexing engine. Chainhook is a reorg-aware indexer for Bitcoin and Stacks that serves reliable blockchain data and saves you the headache of reindexing your database every time there’s a fork.
You can use Ordhook to create a comprehensive ordinals database from genesis, but that can take a lot of time. We take daily snapshots of an Ordhook database and store those snapshots in the Hiro Archive every 24 hours. You can use those snapshots to spin up an ordinals database in a matter of hours.
