With this release, you can now scale your project's infra through a range of account tiers that offer higher API rate limits, better customer support from our engineering staff, and SLAs. Choose the right tier for your project today, and then upgrade as you gain traction and need better infra support tomorrow.
Alongside these new account tiers, we’ve also increased our default rate limit for all of Hiro’s API services by 80%, and you can now access a 900 RPM rate limit for free.
To get started, all you need to do is create an account in the Hiro Platform. All Hiro accounts come with an API key by default on the free “Starter” tier. And if you need higher rate limits, dedicated support channels, or reliability guarantees through an SLA, you can upgrade your account to a higher tier:
As part of this release, rate limits for unauthenticated traffic have been decreased from 50 RPM to 25 RPM, and we will be deprecating support for unauthenticated traffic altogether over the next several months. Developers should migrate their applications to using authenticated calls via API keys.
